This 283 page book was compiled in honor of the Korean War era
veterans who consider Wilson, Oklahoma their home town.
The book is divided into six sections:
Information on the Korean War
List and high school pictures of Wilson veterans
Biographies and pictures of Wilson veterans
The Wilson Post Democrat clippings from the era
Veterans' reunion articles
Veterans' obituaries
Although the book focuses mainly on Wilson veterans, due to the fact that newspaper articles from the era are included, area veterans are mentioned as well. At the time there was an article published regularly from Curtis Harris of Healdton, who was in the Southern Oklahoma National Guard Unit, based in Healdton.
You will find the men in this unit are mentioned often.
